United Way of Central Missouri invites you to attend our 7th annual Power of the Purse fundraiser, hosted by our Women United affinity group!

Power of the Purse is an opportunity for women to support the United Way and its 26 partner agencies, which serve over 100,000 people, while enjoying the company of other engaged and compassionate women in our community. Organized by Women United, a group of dedicated and energetic volunteers, this event kicks off with an online silent auction starting October 11. Participants can bid on a variety of bags, from high-end designer purses to local handmade and vintage items, before the live event. The main event will take place on October 17, where attendees can view and continue to bid on silent auction items and compete for 13 exclusive live auction handbags showcased by local celebrity gentlemen. Each live auction bag comes with a special experience. Guests at the in-person event will also have the chance to participate in a wine pull, a jewelry pull, raffle prizes and more.
